Christopher Dooley Jr. is an American rapper known to the world as Hurricane Chris. Born in Shreveport, Louisiana, on March 7, 1989. The song became a hit peaking at number 2 on the Billboard HipHop-Rap chart and number 7 on the US Billboard Hot 100. It also peaked at number 3 on the New Zealand singles chart making it an international hit and was certified platinum after selling more than one million copies. “A Bay Bay” resulted in Hurricane Chris receiving four BET Hip-Hop awards, including Track of the Year, Ringtone of the Year, Rookie Artist of the Year, and the Alltel People’s Choice (Viewer’s Choice).
