Independent Historian

Gabriel Scott is an author, lecturer and historian from Akron, OH. He has experience working with youth of all ages, nationalities, and personalities. He was a substitute teacher for Akron Public Schools for kindergarten to twelfth grade and he was a youth development specialist for The Boys & Girls Clubs of America.  He also wrote a book that was published titled, The “Chosen” Ones: Perception of Malcolm & Martin. It is a historical/ spiritual book that gives his perception of Malcolm X and Dr. King from a spiritual, logical, and motivational standpoint. It can be purchased on Amazon.com, Google books etc. and he plans to write more. Gabriel has given Black History lectures at grade schools, youth organizations and colleges. He has also given lectures at “The Word” Church; which is a mega church in Cleveland, OH.  He has articles on blackhistory.com and he’s been writing and posting unknown Black History on social media every Tuesday since 2018.
