Katherine Grace Bond is an author and educator, whose books include The Legend of the Valentine, a children’s book about the civil rights movement, The Summer of No Regrets, a YA Novel, and a poetry collection, Considering Flight. She writes on writing, race, family, and relationships on Medium, and her work appears in numerous journals and anthologies. She has been a Jack Straw Writer, a poet for SAM Word at the Seattle Art Museum, the Seattle City Council’s Word’s Worth Program, and Poets Against Hate at the Seattle Public Library. She was a recipient of a 4Culture Grant for her work in progress, a YA novel set in Impressionist France. In 2017 she completed a residency at Camac Centre d’Art in Marnay-sur-Seine France. Katherine taught writing at Bellevue College, Bellevue, Washington from 2004-2020, and is also the CEO of Labyrinth, An Academy for Writers, and the founder of the nonprofit Epicwrite.
