Student Historian

Audry Bernal graduated from the University of Washington, Seattle in 2016 with a degree in Political Science. She currently works as the Assistant director of the Extended Day Program at Bertschi School, and hopes to someday teach high school civics and U.S. history. She is interested in educational equity at the primary and secondary level, and effective community engagement strategies.

Audry was born January 25, 1991 in Sylmar, California, and was raised in Ventura, California until she moved to Seattle to attend college. She is the first to graduate in her family, and plans to pursue a Masters in Teaching and eventually a Ph. D in Political Science.
