Independent Historian

Carey Hamilton was born and raised in a small town in northeast Wyoming. She graduated from the University of Wyoming with a degree in Criminal Justice.  Having settled in Casper, Wyoming, she had been employed in the finance/banking industry for almost 35 years. Recently, she moved to South Carolina where she and her husband now reside. Carey has been married to her husband, Mel Hamilton, for 33 years and over those years has learned much of the Black 14 history having traveled to reunions, panel discussions and talks regarding the Black 14.  Carey and Mel have five children and 8 grandchildren.?
