Black Education, History, and Heritage Alliance (BEHHA)

The Black Education, History, and Heritage Alliance (BEHHA) exists to foster the collaboration of our collective resources in education, history, culture, heritage, and genealogy, with a shared commitment to advancing knowledge that honors the rich lives, legacies, and stories of Black people in the State of Washington and the world.

We seek to reimagine a healthy world that moves beyond racially hierarchical views to value equally the experiences of all people.

Collaboration, Access, Respect, Dialogue, Scholarship
