Ian Blaine is an entrepreneur who has both founded and grown multiple technology companies. His current role is co-founder and Chief Strategy Officer for Wicket Labs, a software company focused on the intersection of big data and television. He was formerly CEO of thePlatform, a software company focused on online video which was acquired by Comcast in 2006. In addition, he has held senior roles at Adobe, Comcast, NBC Universal, and is a patented inventor. Ian currently serves as the Vice President of the Board of Trustees of the Northwest School.
Ian was recognized in The Puget Sound Business Journal’s 40 Under 40, and in the Cable Industry 40 under 40 by Multichannel News. He holds a BA in Business Administration from the University of Washington. Ian is married, with two children and resides in the Seattle area.
