Zeytun Ahmed is a 3rd year student at the University of Washington pursuing a double degree in International Studies and Korean Studies. Because Zeytun was born in a refugee camp in Kenya, she intends to engage with global service learning opportunities and masters research so she may pursue an impactful career that helps fight global poverty and advocates for refugees. Zeytun is most excited to research and contribute to East African history on BlackPast.
