Trice, Gwendolyn

Gwendolyn Trice founded Maxville Heritage Interpretive Center a 501(c)(3) Non-profit cultural heritage center in Wallowa County, Oregon and created a national and regional governing board, developed website support, community volunteer support, initiated organizational strategic plan, and currently serves as it’s Executive Director.

She also provided support and information for OPB the Logger’s Daughter Video in 2009 and has created and developed education, collections, and community outreach programs, developed partnership with Western Oregon theatre, music and writing professionals for historically inspired play, written several regional and national articles regarding the multicultural logging community of Maxville, Oregon

Gwen also generated employment in Wallowa County as a 501 (c)(3) Non-profit cultural heritage center host organization for title five programming. Currently she serves on the Oregon Commission on Black Affairs and is part of a Leadership cohort for the Center for Diversity & and Environment.
