Sarah Sanderson

Sarah L. Sanderson’s book on the impact of Oregon’s anti-Black exclusion laws is due out in Fall 2023 by WaterBrook Press. A freelance writer, she has published at outlets such as Christianity Today, The Other Journal, The Unmooring, Fathom, Motherly, and others. She also teaches writing, public speaking, and U.S. history to 2nd through 12th grade students at Alliance Charter Academy in Oregon City, Oregon. She holds a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Nonfiction from Seattle Pacific University, a Master in Teaching from Seattle University, and a Bachelor of English and Philosophy from Wheaton College in Illinois.
