Juliette Maiorana is a Mexican-American Arizona native. She has a B.S. and M.A. in history from Northern Arizona University, and a Ph.D. in history from the University of California at San Diego (2013). Dr. Maiorana’s historical research and writing has been recognized by numerous awards, grants, and fellowships. Her research interests are too vast for this bio. Currently, she is working on her first book, “The Mining Life,” a history of industrial mining, race, and family in Arizona, Chihuahua, and throughout the U.S.-Mexican Borderlands. For the moment, she resides in Prescott, Arizona with her two awesome sons.
