Lakesha Knatt is a native of Seattle, Washington and currently lives there with her family. She is a social justice educator with over ten years of experience working in both social service organizations and educational institutions to support the empowerment and liberation of marginalized and under-served communities. Her research interests include the African Diaspora, specifically the acculturation of American-born Africans and African immigrants in America.
