Sandra Bernard-Bastien, a former TV and print journalist, is Director of Public Affairs and Organizational Development at the Children’s Services Council of Broward County. Her first published work was at the age of 16 in the London newspaper, The Daily Telegraph. Her works include the play, The Reunion, Who’s Who in the Caribbean Media, and Soul Bubba: President Clinton’s Use of the Rhetoric of Inclusion to Ensure the Loyalty of the Congressional Black Caucus. She was educated at Tuskegee University, Alabama (BA in English) and Florida Atlantic University (M.A. in Communication).
