Dianne Washington is a native of New York City with family roots in the Gullah tradition and people of South Carolina and Georgia. Historian since birth, representative of the Ancestors, Washington has been active in the entertainment community. She has worked at the Negro Ensemble Company for a number of years in Development and Fundraising. Washington currently resides in New York City.
