Marcia Walker is an instructor in the history department at Texas A&M – Corpus Christi. She received her doctorate in American history from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor of Science in Education and Social Policy from Northwestern University. Her main research and teaching fields include African American history, labor history, women’s history and public history. She is currently working on a biography of Rev. Addie Wyatt.
