Paul Suzman founded OfficeLease in 1981; the first commercial tenant/buyer representation firm in the Pacific Northwest and brings decades of experience and proven results to this arena. He and his team work collaboratively with clients to provide counsel, expertise, and guidance to help them make well informed real estate decisions to further their business objectives. Paul enjoys learning about clients’ businesses and has earned a stellar reputation among, and the trust of, many of the Pacific Northwest region’s finest companies. Principled negotiating skills, solid working knowledge of the Puget Sound commercial real estate market, and the integrity, directness and thoughtfulness of their counsel has helped build OfficeLease’s strong reputation through the years.
Paul attended Hilton College and the University of the Witwatersrand in South Africa and immigrated to Seattle in 1979. He has served on the boards of several local companies and non-profit organizations including University of Washington Presidents’ Club, Seattle Repertory Theatre, Pacific Science Center and Henry Art Gallery. He was a founding member and chaired the advisory committee of what is now the Washington Technology Industry Alliance, is past chair of Community Development Round Table, and is active in Seattle Rotary Club. He is a founding board member of VillageReach, and is on the advisory board of UW’s Autism Center. Paul is a member of Seattle Tennis Club and is an avid cyclist. He has served as faculty for numerous real estate seminars including the Law Seminars International’s Advanced Commercial Real Estate Leases Conference and has authored many articles on the subject of lease negotiations.
