Student Historian

Stephanie Mathies is a senior at Berea College in Kentucky. She is majoring in Business Administration with a double concentration in Accounting and Finance. Mathies is from Monrovia, Liberia. She currently works at the Berea College Bookstore as a Bookkeeper and Student Supervisor; and has also worked as a lab assistant in the Foreign Language Lab of Berea College. Mathies has participated in several internships and honorary organizations, including the Berea College Entrepreneurship for the Public Good program, Students in Free Enterprise, Mortar Board Honor Society, and Fleur de Lis Honor Society. Mathies anticipates she will graduate in May of 2009.  She aspires to become a Certified Public Accountant and earn a Masters in Business Administration.
