Academic Historian

Bo S. Lindström is an emeritus professor in Production Engineering at the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH), Stockholm, Sweden. He formerly had a chair of Production Engineering at the Linköping University, Sweden. He was Dean of the School of Mechanical and Materials Processing at KTH for 12 years and is internationally active in CIRP, The International Academy for Production Engineering, Paris. He has been devoted to jazz music since his teens and has co-written Traveling Blues – The life and music of Tommy Ladnier as well as four volumes of  Jazz Puzzles with Dan Vernhettes. He has written Oh Joe, Play that Trombone – The Life and music of George L Brashear.
