Joshua Vernon

Joshua Vernon is a junior attending Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas. In 2021 Joshua will be graduating with a B.S. in Economics, and a minor in financial planning after College Joshua intends to commission in the United States Navy, serving his country as a Naval Aviator. Although Mission, Texas is his native land, Joshua has experienced interracial and intercultural education due to attending three different high schools in three different Texas regions. Through his adolescence and young adult life, Joshua has represented and advised multiple minority-based organizations through collegiate student government and organizations, represented and advised various minority-based organizations. As a Latinx representative and Black Student Union spokesperson, Joshua advocates for better representation in higher education for minorities and other underrepresented communities.
