Peter Blecha is the award-winning author of six books and a Staff Historian and Contributing Editor at HistoryLink.org, and the director of the Northwest Music Archives (http://nwmusicarchives.com/). He has previously served as a Senior Curator at Seattle’s music museum, the Experience Music Project (EMP), on the Museum Advisory Committee for the Northwest African American Museum (NAAM), on the Advisory Board for the Indiana University-associated Center for Research into the Anthropological Foundations of Technology (since renamed: the Stone Age Institute), as a member of the Association for Recorded Sound Collections’ (ARSC) Excellence in Publications Committee, and on the Northwest Area Music Association’s Hall Of Fame Committee.
