Bruce Kuklick is Nichols Professor of American History at the University of Pennsylvania. He has written several books, including To Every Thing a Season: Shibe Park and Urban Philadelphia (Princeton University Press, 1991), Philosophy in America, 1720-2000 (Oxford University Press, 2001), and Blind Oracles: Intellectuals and War from Kennan to Kissinger (Princeton University Press, 2006). He is a member of the American Philosophical Society.
