Meili Powell is graduating from the University of Washington in Spring 2017 with a BA in History, BA of Arts in Early Childhood and Family Studies, and a minor in Education, Learning, & Society. After graduation, Meili will be joining the Teach for America Corps in Memphis, Tennessee to teach elementary school. After Teach for America, Meili plans to go back to graduate school and then continue working as an advocate for educational equity in Seattle.
